If you get a gravity tank you won’t need a pump in the middle

I mean is there any such thing as a "gravity tank?" Put the tank above your intended end point and gravity will take over. But it's not always that easy. What if you're down to your last 10 gallons of water and your last job of the day you're forced to park your rig facing downhill? Gravity is not always going to work. If you do this for a living, invest in a $60 pump. If you don't do this for a living, of course it's not necessary. It always amazes me what "professionals" will leave to chance or sheer dumb luck to save a few bucks.

I'm not sure what question you're answering. He replaced his pump and now it works perfectly per his last post.

where did you find the hose (looks like 1/2 fittings on ends) the issue most times is fitting, when you get a shurflo pump with male fitting the fittings are usual 1/2 and need to converted or adapted to 3/4

Mobile Water Tank setup....need a little help

Not sure about all that I have 12 gravity tanks and I’ve never had a issue and never needed a pump in any of my fleets but to each there own all I say. We do 90-120 cars per day with our mobile fleet and never ran into that problem

Never had a problem supplying water even running the pressure washer for 10 minutes straight. It only runs when there's demand, so only when you pull the trigger.

Online retailer. The popular one. It's part of a silencing kit (just some short hoses, really) -SHURFLO (94-591-01) Pump Silencing Kit

I'm not even sure why I got that.

You can also use adapters (I had to get these anyway).

I used Lasco (bought in the same place online)

    LASCO 15-1631 PVC Hose Adapter
    LASCO 15-1635 PVC Hose Adapter

That's the thing with the Shurflo. 1/2 inch fittings. I looked and looked but couldn't find a "regular" garden hose (that was 1/2 inch fittings) to work. So I ended up buying those Lasco adapters to make it work with a 3/4 inch hose.

One adapter, the female I think, goes from the tank to a white hose. The hose goes to the pump as shown in the pic. Out from the pump is the other white hose, which goes to the other adapter, and connects to a regular 3/4 inch hose.

Hope that helps. - Oh, you could likely do without that "silencing kit"
