Nice catch, I didn't think it would matter as its just 6 individual pads, not bundled or anything.

i saw that this weekend when I ordered 18 new ones - a 12 and 6 pack. But even though the part number may be different, the description does say 7/8” and beveled edges - which is the description of the new improved pads.

I left a note note in the comments field of my order indicating I would like the new thinner ones.

So I totally didn't even think to look at the part number and just checked the 7/8" beveled edge as well.

Also guys if you follow these links, it takes you to the "new and improved pads" (7/8" thick with beveled edges).

Lake Country Flat Pads New & Improved! then takes you to this link: Lake Country 5 1/2 x 7/8 inch Beveled Edge Foam Pads, buffing pads, Lake Country curved edge pads, polishing pads where you see:

Lake Country 5 1/2 inch Flat Foam Pads New & Improved!
A curved edge rounds out the features of these pads!
Lake Country 5 1/2 x 7/8 inch Flat Foam Pads are a new take on a classic buffing pad. Lake Country's flat 6.5 inch foam pads set the standard for dual action buffing pads. Now they're available in these smaller, slimmer 5 1/2 x 7/8 inch pads. Lake Country 5 1/2 x 7/8 inch Flat Foam Pads have the flat, full contact face and curved edge that made the original pads so popular but their slim size opens up new possibilities.

and then scrolling down you can order the 12 pack which does have the "LC-75" part #. Hopefully this is just a mistake on the web site and the 6 and 12 packs are the new, 7/8" pads.

Does anybody know if Autopia has the new flat pads in stock? I just ordered some flats but I'm kind of worried I'll receive the old style

Re: LC flat pads, did I order wrong??

These pads do not look right. Can you email me additional images of the pad and I can help out.

The one on the left looks like a Hybrid pad or another manufacturer.

The pad on the right in the OP looks like it is the flat pad version that was just replaced with the "NEW" pads

The "NEW" pads are shaped like the pads found on the other online store.\

*****MOVING FORWARD****** all the pads will be shapped like the "NEW" pads or the ones people have received from other online stores.
