Body shop installed scratches... Pic
So I got my car back from the body shop the other day. They did a great job on the bumper. Plus I got it back with these scratches. As far as I know it was from them. I can't see how else they could have been done, What do you think put these in? I'm sure they will buff out easy but still
You can see they are high up on the panel. I know my car scratches easy because of the color but come on. Should I even bother saying anything to the shop they will probably just deny it anyway. Plus there's nothing they can do for me.
What could have caused that? It looks intentional doesn't it?

Careless?...yes...intentional?...not likely. Looks like someone was leaning against it, maybe moved back and forth. Just happened on my wife's vehicle while in the body shop. You can bring it to their attention, but I'd be inclined to fix it myself.

Yeah I'm definitely fixing it myself. Some of it came off using a non abrasive polish by hand. Thanks for the input what u use to take it off the wife's car?

Disgusting. I know some body shops that do a 360 degree confirmation with the customer of any obvious scratches/dents prior to working on a vehicle; this should be a standard.

I would bet you this was a belt buckle or even brads on jeans. I’ve seen them on my truck from getting it serviced. Actually watched the guy leaned into the engine bay and his belt rubbing on my truck. Asked him to be more careful and he looked at me like I had 2 heads.

Body shops seems clueless about stuff like this....
Had a friend get her car back from work being done and they put her keys ON THE ROOF when giving it back to her
Also my sister had the body shop wet sand a scratch for her a few years back because she was too impatient to wait until I could take a look at it... instead of a 5inch scratch she ended up with a 7inch diameter hazed circle where they burned the clear coat.

These are hard to get out too. I did 3500 microfiber fiber cutting pad they're not all out a hundred percent but I don't want to go any more than that

And if they don't a person should request it, same at the dealership. Before and after walk around.
