    Black wow on tires?

So could black wow be used on tires?

i would theoretically put maybe an Oz in a 8oz sprayer mixed with opti bond tire gel.

I have a few different tire gels with me at once and sometimes they are different products mixed.

I used Black Wow before. Love the watermelon smell. That being said, I use Gyeon Tire dressing and it is the best tire dressing I have used til this date. A good 2nd place for me is Blackfire Tire Gel. Either of these 2 might be better as well as LESS EXPENSIVE than Black Wow.

    All I use now.

    Gyeon tire

Gtechniq Tire is also right up there. Really hard to pick between the two. BOTH last weeks, give a good looking tire, and NO SLING!

Blackfire is my go to dressing, I will put two coats on. I got some Gyeon over the blackfire day sale but haven’t used it yet. What makes Gyeon a first place winner compared to Blackfire in your opinion?

It has the new Sio2 technology. It lasts longer. It's is a thick liquid and spreads easy. The tire will actually bead a little with water. My car was out in the elements for over a week and the tires looked ok. It definitely needed to be cleaned, however, it still had some tire protection on it. This of course is my opinion. Once you try it, let me know. I think you will be impressed.

Will do, it may be a while. Temps will be down to teens when I get home from work this week. Hopefully next weekend will be above freezing.

i wouldn't use BW on tires, you would be diluting it down and basically just wasting it (not intended for tires anyway). i would stick to a product that is used specifically for tires...

    Re: Black wow on tires?

I wouldn't waste Black WOW on tires. Autogeek offers great products that are designed for tires. I've been using the CarPro PERL lately and it works great, but it doesn't last that long. The Optimum Opti-Bond Tire Gel, Blackfire Tire Gel, Pinnacle Black Onyx Tire Gel, McKee's 37 Gloss Tire Gel, GTechniq T1 Tire & Trim and the Gyeon Q2M Tire all work great for dressing tires IMO.

Good luck getting the Black Wow off your tires if you don't like it. Afterwards ,you'll be one of those people that complain that no tire dressing lasts more than a few days on your tires.
