    Lightbulb CquartzUK sticky, gliss smooth?

So I’ve used cquartz UK as my coating system for about 3 years now. I’ve done multiple black cars and other colors and have always had the same result.
My technique is iron x, clay, 101,205,ipa, cquartz 3-5min until flash, do whole car come back with reload spray.
ALWAYS get fantastic results and beading.

I did my personal 2016 Black Silverado all the truck from the rear wheels forward. 2 reasons one it won’t fit in my garage and the paint was warm from sitting in the sun. Secondly I can show customers hey this side is coated and this is not. Although it doesn’t look much different than the coated just the protection is superior on Coated.

I noticed when I run my fingers across the paint it feels sticky like my fingers drag. I’ve read on here the new product “gliss” is for a slicker surface.

i do reload with reload after wash. Coating is only maybe 3months old. One layer because I plan on doing it yearly.

Will gliss give me a smoother slicker surface?

    Re: CquartzUK sticky, gliss smooth?

Just seems kinda silly for a coating to have a “stickier” feel, I feel that the dust and dirt sticks to the surface EASIER because it is sticky, though the surface is your coating and not the paint. It is easy af to clean....

Can gliss be applied on top of UK or should I start over and only use gliss?

See post 9 in this thread where I pulled the FAQ's from CarPro's facebook page. Should answer all of your questions on gliss.
