Optimum Gloss Coat Coating Not A Ceramic Coating?
Been thinking about installing Optimum Gloss Coat on my personal car for awhile now as I've used other OPT products and had good luck. From what I've been reading and from what I understand, Gloss Coat is NOT a ceramic coating? It Is still a coating but not classified as "ceramic"? Assuming its just a coating strictly with polymers, hence their name. I do believe their other coatings are ceramic that I think you have to be certified to install. But I just wanted to clarify with others who would know. I also understand from research that its one of the easiest coatings to apply.

It's a ceramic coating. Optimum states that it is a hybrid coating consisting of SiO2 and SiC (silicon carbide). The chemical make up is take from their pro coatings.
