What headphones do you use while detailing

We use an Aiwa Exos 9 connected via bluetooth to a phone to listen to Sirius. I don't really like ear buds and headphones seem impractical when you're working.

Was wondering what headphones if any do you use while detailing? I used to be a singer so I use my custom molded in ear monitors as headphones which makes it nice because i can't hear the buffer at all. With that said, the cable connected to my phone drives me crazy. Anyone using bluetooth headphones? How do you like them?

I simply use my wife's bluetooth headphones when the buffer is rolling. For me it's a combo of helping save my hearing and it allows me to listen to music or more so the TV which I tend to leave running in the background.

Usually listen to stereo speakers in garage but on occasion throw on the beats studio.

I use the crappy ones that come with the phone. They have a volume switch built into the cord, which comes in handy.

I like when my ears listen-only Rock music and since I am a trucker it's important for me to find some useful headphones for my life road. Can you guys help me with my wish? I want to improve my headphones and by my friend's advice I found an article that has almost eight tips for eight headphones (special for truckers). I picked up a pair of Plugphones Liberate 2.0 (semi) wireless ear plug/ear bud hybrids from one of my tool vendors at work. I love these things. The ones I have are bluetooth - there's a cord that runs between the 2 ear pieces with 2 small rectangular boxes; one of them has your normal control buttons. They have a cheaper fully corded version as well.

Basically, they're ear plugs with bluetooth ear buds inside them. Noise reduction rating of 27 or 29 dB depending on if you use the foam tips or rubber tips. I use them when mowing and snow blowing mainly, though they're great for running a polisher as well. I like that they're not just ear buds where you're cranking the volume up to hear your content over the ambient noise, they legit function as ear plugs first. I usually only need half volume on my phone to listen to spoken word podcasts while mowing/etc.

I've had them for over a year now, even run them through the wash once (oh, that's where they were - back pocket. ). They still work, but the trip through the wash definitely cut the battery life down. If you listen to music, the sound quality's actually pretty good as well.
