I use Ultimate quick detailer on the glass. Cleans nice, evaporates quickly and leaves a slight amount of protection on the glass after.

I just recently tried Ult Quick Detailer on a LIGHTLY damp with water mf cloth, rubbed it on the glass then dried it with a second mf, not letting the solution dry by itself and my windows came out great - and NO smears.

I've had good luck also with rinseless washes and Opti-seal for doing inside glass - the bit of slickness they have definitely cuts down the effort it takes to wipe/buff the glass.

Just a tip when cleaning drivers side interior windshield. Because the steering wheel gets in the way..try sitting in the passenger seat and lean on the drivers seat with your left hand. This will allow you a greater reach with your right hand.

Yep Don, I have been doing this for years with great success.

I use a glaze from a competitor and it works flawlessly plus leaves a tiny amount of protection against fog

    Re: Interior Windshield Cleaning

These are the dedicated glass cleaners I've used.

Invisible glass, sprayway, D120 Glass Cleaner Concentrate, 3D Glass Cleaner Concentrate, & Pinnacle Crystal Clear Glass Cleaner.

Pinnacle glass cleaner is the best dedicated glass cleaner I've used based purely on slickness.

The best interior glass cleaner IMO is Wolfgang Uber (3oz. per Gallon) and a 245gsm chinese edgeless microfiber towel.

Fortunately, I don't remember the last time I had to clean an interior window that was gross enough to require a magic eraser.

IMO dedicated glass cleaners are a waste of time and money. Generally, the ones that are good are expensive and the alcohol based ones that are sold in concentrates are too grabby and are no more effective than 10% IPA

I've had good luck with this method.
I also have great success with Invisible Glass. I start with a short knap microfiber towel and get the window good and wet. I dry it with a waffle weave towel and then finish slowly with a soft, dry microfiber towel. I put the car in the garage, close the door and shut the lights off. Then I shine a tactical flashlight on the windows and look for streaks, spots or smears. They wipe up easily with a microfiber.
