I like 800 GSM for rinseless wash and detail spray wiping.
I like 480 GSm for polish removal.

What microfiber are you folks using to remove compounds? I found really thin knap required for the compounds I've used (m105 and Griot's fast correcting creme). The Texas heat doesn't help either removal.

Edgeless 480 GSM Korean made 70/30s is what I like.

Supreme 530 for rinseless wash and most QD applications. Removal of anything else, wax polish etc gold plush Jr.

Really, I found the thicker towels would not remove the stubborn residue. For polish removal they worked ok.

agreed. the thicker the towel, they are more like a mop when using to wipe polishes/compounds and also more prone to linting...

Hdepot 8.97 you get 20 good size micros.Never bought micros from ag.Because I throw so many out permonth due to soilage that Im not going to throw in the machine.

I don't consider 480 GSM thick. 800 GSM is thick to me. I like 800 GSM for rinseless.

DI Microfiber, and my favorite are the Black & Yellow towels, the Ultra Plush double sided, and the Double Thick Edgeless towels.
2019 GLI 35th Edition DSG in Pure Grey w/ OEM+ IS38 turbocharger and various bolt-ons.

Just learned about Towel Titan. They said they found the manufacturers and suppliers for big name companies but priced them for professionals. I like the idea of buying quality brand products at value pricing.
