    Re: Meguiar's microfiber cutting pads

Menzerma 300 is the strongest cutting compound in my arsenal. It rarely gets used as I reach for 400 first and that usually works and finishes better. I’ve used it both on microfiber and Rupes wool pads and if it doesn’t cut well enough you need to wet sand.

I have a bunch of lambs wool type pads here but rarely use them. If I’m heavy compounding, it’s the rotary and twisted wool usually for me. I don’t have enough time with the lambs wool or low lint lambs wool pads to comment. Sorry

Hi, so Menzerna 400 would work great with Meguiar's MF Cutting pads? I'm looking to buy a compound for Megs MF pads, I can buy Menzerna 400 1liter or D300 500ml for the same price.

I may be wrong, but I believe that Meguiar's M101 is still the heaviest cutting compound on the market... maybe Mike can chime in on this?

M101 was designed to cut super hard German ceramiclear, and is overgunned compared to other compounds.

A lot of new compounds came on the market since it was released, so something else might be more agressive, if so I would love to know what that product is

Maybe out of the compounds that are here on AG but there are definitely compounds out there capable of removing 800 or even 600 grit marks. They truly are rocks in a bottle

Yep, 400 works great with Meguires microfiber cutting pads. Remember to work it good as 400 needs to break down to perform at its best. Jescar Compound is another of my favorites, it works like Menzerma 400 but is easier to wipe off and is cheaper.
