I just bought a Harley TriGlide with more chrome than I know what to do with. I'm asking for recommendations for chrome care products. Also do I use something like 303 protectant on the black plastic and lines? Any other advice would be appreciated.
And I know we all like pictures so...
I keep the chrome on my two Harley's looking good with simple washings. Only occasionally will I use a mild polish (like once every year or two) and then only if the chrome is looking a little dingy. Chrome really doesn't require much maintenance other than keeping it clean. I've seen an awful lot of damaged chrome from people getting to aggressive with polishing and/or polishing too often.
To me the key is keeping it clean with mild washings and do everything you can to minimize scratches because once they're there, they're there for good. It's not like paint. Once chrome is scratched, those scratches are there for life... You can't polish them away.

I asked my friend who owns 2 Harleys this very same question just a few days ago. I wanted to know what do bikers use for the chrome on their bikes?
He didn't hesitate to reach for his bottle of "Protect All"
He pretty much said this is the stuff everyone uses. They sell it at the Harley dealer and everyone trusts it because Harley recommends it.
