Light set up halogen or LED
Hello everyone I've been trying research light set ups only really see halogen lights not a lot with LED I want to buy a nice light set up for my paint correction
I was looking at LED since they don't produce a lot heat
I saw some lights equivalent too 500 w in halogen lights But LED gives more of clear brightness compared to Halogen that I've seen give more warm light
Would that clear light blind me from seeing defects or would you guys recommend to just buy some halogen lights ?
Scangrip is out of the picture atm I don't have the funds for that so I need more pocket saver but with good quality
If I do buy halogen lights would you guys recommend 500w on each since it would be a double headed? Or go lower on watts
Thank you everyone !

You could purchase an adjustable LED work light(s). There was a pretty neat one I saw at Menards the other day. It had an adjustable dial knob for brightness and one dial knob for color temperature! I thought that was cool as heck! You could adjust the color temp from 3000K to 6500K or something like that.
In case you were concerned with washing out your panel or concerned you could not see all defects depending on light color.

Re: Light set up halogen or LED
Good lighting is important.
That said, I've buffed out cars in damn near dark.
If you dial in your TEST SPOT and get great results, theoretically you can repeat the process you used in the test spot to each section of paint and never even look at the paint while buffing and still get great results because you PROVED your process in the test spot.
But yeah... have good lighting...
