It's not going to strip waxes or sealants on it's own. Besides the majority of the time they are used while raining and even when dry, the wash fluid is going to evaporate and move off the vehicle rather quickly.

I'd try the Sonax Clear View Washer Fluid. You mix it up with distilled water, and to the best of my knowledge it doesn't contain alcohol or harsh solvents.

Re: Wax safe windshield washer fluid?
I would never use a wax on the windshield. Wax is pretty much passé anyway, because heat and the friction of the wipers will definitely make it go away over a short period of time. you just keep the windshield clear with Windex or something like that, or put a coating on it. I do believe using a polish on the car is a good idea , only to completely clean the glass before you attempt to put something on it.

Re: Wax safe windshield washer fluid?
Nexzett Kristall Klar Windshield Washer Fluid Concentrate 250 ml.
I switch over to this in the Summer months. Really does a number on the bugs. In fact ready to do my first batch for the season. I find it easier to fill the washer container first with water, then add the concentrate. I tried pre mixing gallon jugs, but when you go to fill up the container on the vehicle, it foams up too much. Just be sure to switch back before freezing temps again!

A tip right from Nextzett- use tap water to mix. Distilled water will make it foam.

Re: Wax safe windshield washer fluid?
I live in Southern California so there's not much of a need for washer fluid. I can't remember ever using my washers... But it sure pisses me off when the car in front of me uses there's and the overspray blankets my clean truck.
