Compounding specific parts of the car only

    Hey fellas,

Been following this forum for a while and finally in need for some advice.
I own a dark red (bordeaux) car and I've noticed that while the car looks pretty good, the bonnet is in a worse state compared to the other car parts. Now I was wondering if compounding only the bonnet would look weird?
I did do AIO with auto finnesse tripple on the entire car but the bonnet needs further correction..

    What are your suggestions?

    Thanks

Assuming the rest of the car is already polished up and free of noticable defects, I honestly can't see it looking weird. Unless you polished only the bonnet to a super high gloss, should be ok. (imo)

Why by hand and not machine?

    Sure you can!

Just remember if you compound, follow up with a polish and then your wax
    or
Just polish and then follow up with a wax.

    Great! Thanks for the comments.
Will auto finnesse tripple be enough as a Polish / wax? It contains light Polish abrasives and wax with some carnauba percent.
