Here's the thing, uv rays trump winter. You have a black car, park that bad boy outside in Florida even in January and the paint will be hot, May right now in Tampa surface temp would be hundreds of degrees, that cooks lsp's. It's 95 degrees outside right now and that's in the shade. The surface temp of your black paint right now would fry an egg down here in minutes. Now park that outside at work for ten hours a day and let's talk about longevity.
My GC is a garge queen. If I pull it out in todays sun and wait 10-15 minutes to wipe it down with any type of detaling spray other than DoDo Tropical Mist :dblthumb2: it is already too hot on the paint sruface. You can see heat waves baking off of it after 20 or so minutes. So consider all day and the temps that black paint and darker colors get to down here for 9-10 months of the year.
