Re: Best car scent
I prefer a clean, not sweet scent. Trying Refresh Leather scent vent clips now, not blown away, but not turned off either, it's okay. I might go back to Febreeze Aqua, or Bora Bora.

Re: Best car scent
I use the vent wraps by Little trees. Caribbean colada or new car scents. They are hardly noticeable and I tell the client to remove it if it bothers them. So far they've not bothered a soul.

Re: Best car scent
I don't use any scents so to speak, but I love the way my truck and garage smell after using Meg's D115.

I'll say it for the millionth time...Meguiars needs an NXT air freshener. Don't care if it's a spray or a hanger, I need it!

Best car scent is Hungry Howie’s butter cheese crust.

Bumping this.
Does anyone know how to go about making an air freshener? Spray or a mirror hanger would work. No clue to how start.

Re: Best car scent
Not sure exactly what your asking for. But, I'll give you something that might work. Bath and Body Works has a car scent line called Scentportables. They sell holders that clip to visors (The discs need a holder.). You can use their scents or you could cut some felt pieces (1/8" thick stuff) to fit inside and put your scent in.
Another possibility is to get some Fresh Wave in their small canister and put it under your seat. Once again, when the contents are used up, put felt or a rag/foam topped with felt (cut to fit) and pour your choice of scent in it.
If it's too strong, you can put some tape (or something similar) on the interior side of the vent lids to slow the transfer rate.
