Longest lasting Synthetic Paint Sealant for Daily Driver? (poll)

It will last for years if you hand wash your car. My father in-law bought a ford ranger in the early 90s
And put this sealant on and his truck looked freshly waxed for 11 years which is hard for me to
Believe also cause he doesn’t have the truck anymore,I never saw it but he doesn’t have any reason
To lie to me. I looked into the product and Jewelultra manufactures their own products for the last
25 years. Take it or leave it but my f150 looks great

We would love to see some pictures from the first day he applied the product, all through the next 11 years.
For me, I like Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant. I can get about 5 months out of it. I use Wolfgang Uber for rinseless washes and as a drying aid and it seems to help.

Never underestimate the power of steam. I’m not a pro. Just a weekend warrior. And even a cheap steamer does the job for me.
My car mats take a beating every winter not being able to pull out the pressure washer.


Busted out some Purple power with the little steamer and they turned out great.



Finished them off with DG 253 to help the cleaning down the road. That little steamer has done such a good job for me over the years.

duragloss 105/601 combo is hands-down the most durable sealant you can buy from market. if you really follow the instructions and combo 105 with 601 perfectly you will get close to a year. I don't think any other sealant comes near to that point. some coatings, although claimed to last up to 1 year or so, even fail earlier than 105/601.

However, if you use 105 alone, at least to me, it seems the longevity is quite compromised. I will say a few months, which is still impressive.

I'm seeing similar results with just #111... on my daughter's Kia Sportage. After 4 months the beading is still very strong. I plan to apply the #601/#111 combo over the spring.

I used #111/#601 on my wife’s RAV4 and it lasted at least a year, more on horizontal panels, but it is garage kept.

xInfinity on the DG 111/601 combo. I have seen it last a year. Amazing stuff, very easy to work with (can mix them, and apply with a DA). It's why I haven't ventured into ceramic coatings yet.
