    Scratch under coating

As I am always close by to Murphy and his law, I noticed a scratch right after I finished applying my coating of Uber ceramic.

Can I polish out the scratch and reapply the coating to the affected area? I would tape off a section, correct, and then recoat.

    Appreciate any input.

    Rick

Yes, you can. Wet sand where needed, polish the area, wipe down if applicable and re-coat. I just touched up some areas on our van the other day.

If your always close to Murphy and his law you may not want to do any wet sanding unless your experienced.

Agreed, I would correct with a DA and M105/205.

You may want to just re do the whole panel, following his law, if there's one there's 2?

It's a Viper hood, so hopefully don't have to redo the whole thing as it's the biggest panel on the car.
