    Clay bar question

Anyone know of a good clay bar on the market? I know Chemical Guys and Adam's Polishes have their own, but i'm not sure about the difference in quality. Are all clay bars basically the same material wise? I understand that there are some clay bars that are more aggressive but what do you guys recommend for a very light contaminated car? Thanks!

I've always had good luck with the ones Meguiars offers in their clay bar kit.

Meguiars Smooth Surface Clay Kit, meguiars detailing clay,

This kit can be found everywhere. Another great bonus is the QD spray which comes with it. Love the stuff.

    Re: Clay bar question

I've had good luck with the Mothers Clay kit, and just recently picked up some BlackFire clay, while it's on BOGO, but haven't had a chance to use it. I use the included detailer as a lube with Mothers, and am mixing some Wolfgang Uber Rinseless as clay lube for the BlackFire.

I can highly recommend Nanoskin as I have the fine pad, as well as the sponges and they all work great! I use the Glide lube with the Nanoskin.

Any of those will certainly meet your needs.

    Re: Clay bar question

Mothers is a good all-around clay bar; very good. What I like about this one (and Riccardo's) is that they are very soft and pliable right at the get-go. I have used Meguiars and Wolfgang clay as well; they work but not as pliable.

I do like their clay, but is it offered on AG? Griots clay works well too.
