Grease in carpet
I'm looking for a product suggestion for
removing grease out of the new Ford I'm about to take delivery of.
Upon wrap removal and inspection I notice alot of grease on the front carpet off the seat rail slide
I have no steamer I'm just a 2 yr rookie
Thanks

Re: Grease in carpet
A solvent based spotter. Blotting with towels and/or an extractor, the bissel spot
Clean is not a big investment.

Re: Grease in carpet
I really like citrus based cleaners for oil and grease stains.
I use a citrus solvent one from a janitorial supply store now. I started out using 3D Orange 88, and Totally Awesome when I didn't have it.
I like the 3D product better than the dollar store one, but it works. The one I use now is super concentrated and only available in bulk.
Spray, and wipe, or spray, scrub, and wipe.
I don't like using high concentrations of APC on fabrics and carpet. If not removed, it may leave a residue behind that attracts more dirt.
Citrus solvent cleaners act more like a solvent. I believe it doesn't really attract dirt if you do leave some behind.

My favorite is Stoner's Xenit Citrus it works really well on grease or tar on carpet. I like to spray the Citrus cleaner on a cotton terry cloth towel and work out the grease.
