Microfiber storage question? (Bag, bin, other?)
My Detailer's Bag came today and I'm in the process of getting it loaded with my polisher, pads, products I plan to use often, etc.
I'm planning on putting my collection of pads in the bottom compartment, although I've seen it recommended that it be used for microfiber towels, wash mitts, etc.
I currently keep my microfibers in a plastic storage bin with a latched lid to prevent them from getting dust, grit, or other contaminants on them while their in the garage awaiting use.
My question is this.. is the bin overkill? Does anyone keep towels in their Detailer's bag? Should I keep applicator/DA pads in a bin as well? Am I being too careful?
For the record, I'm a hobbyist. I'm re-learning all of this to take care of my Chevelle as well as my family's daily drivers. If I get good and the neighbors want me to work on theirs, well, we'll scratch that bridge when we come to it. Err, I mean..
As alway, appreciate the input.

I keep my good MF in the same type bins. The older towels are on shelves. Hobbyist as well.

You can never be too careful! I keep my MF's in these plastic storage drawers.
Easy to access keep things organized, when I got started, my MF collection grew quickly. I like having dedicated towels for certain purposes.

I keep mine in plastic bins stacked in my cabinets. Easy to store and definitely keeps dust out.

Thick plastic bags do the job perfectly!

I keep a plastic 22qt bin in the car with an assortment of paint grade, interior grade, and glass towels. Storage at home is similar type towel separated into 2 gallon and 5 gallon zip-top bags. Wheels towels are kept in their own bags. Nothing on shelves grabbing dust or lint. (I love in Arizona...then whole flippin' place is dust!)

Keep mine in Rubbermaid 19 quart storage containers. Like BM said have to keep the dust out and also easier to keep separate.
When I do detail out side of the home it's also a breeze to grab and go.
