Recommend a bright portable Work Light

Hi enthusiasts, I'm looking for a bright portable work light for some detailing projects with paint correction and was looking at these below. Would appreciate your feedback:

Should I buy 2 ($104 each) of these: Husky 5 ft. 2500 Lumen Multi-Directional LED Work Light-3PL-TP-DF-24W - The Home Depot

or just one of this at $214 each : PowerSmith 100-Watt (10,000 Lumens) LED Dual-Head Work Light with Tripod-PWL21100TS - The Home Depot

Thanks Mike, I'm actually looking for a stationary work light that's on a tripod> will give the Powersmith a try

If I was in your shoes, I'd probably go for the Powersmith one too. The Husky has a good idea by creating a wider lighting array, but it looks like there are a series of single LED's spread out across all three panels. The light would be pretty dispersed and I don't think it would work real well. The Husky's tighter array of LED's which should provide more focus and highlight paint defects better.

I bought a single LED work light for working on interiors and augment my halogen work lights by illuminating very low areas. The single LED is pretty bright, but is really dispersed and doesn't show defects nearly as well as I hoped.

Dont waste ur time with anything else. for about 83 bucks /w prime you can not beat this setup

Shop around on craigslist. I picked up this rediculous setup for $30

It folds up and shrinks down pretty well

I would highly recommend cob par30 or par38 lights the ones paul_g gave you link to, kelvins should be something from 4000k to 5500k.

I found a small unit at Lee Valley (in Canada). Can't figure out how to post picture sorry.

It is called the"Take Anywhere LED Light" ($59.00).

Don't let the size fool you, it produces 800 Lumens with a colour temperature of 6000K (not sure what that means but it is bright).

Good things:
LED runs much cooler. In fact Hologens are gone for me.

Runs off batteries that are rechargeable and last quite a long time. You can also run it off extension cord if available.

Has nice little stand/handle with rubber cushions on the legs.

Use mine alot when tracking down swirls in my black stripes.
