Re: Opti seal alternatives
The only thought I have is if you're going to use an Optimum product on the exterior of your vehicle, go with only Optimum products for a couple months before you judge them. My experience is it's the one product line you don't want to mix with others. All the streaking problems I remember were when residue from other products could have still been on the paint.
Try using only ONR for 4 washes before using Optiseal.

Re: Opti seal alternatives
I personally can only use Opti in the winter, it hates the high heat

While he is long winded, Scott makes some interesting points comparing Opti Seal and UPGP--- YouTube

Re: Opti seal alternatives
Held up so far so good. Just have done ONR washes every 4-5 days. It’s seen rain and tons of dust as usual
It’s not the most aggressive beading product but there is an under lying slickness still there believe it or not

Re: Opti seal alternatives
Ok I should update this UFF it’s not the best beader when dirty is how I should state it. It got a bit of rain on it last week after it was a much cleaner surface and it looked good. Not PNS beading but pretty good. Didn’t clear off the paint as fast or as complete as Cquartz ti02 when driving either
But so far a super solid Performer and crazy easy to use. I’m becoming quite a fan of this stuff we’ll see over the next bit of time
