Do i use the orange pad that came with my Griots Da polisher OR the "fast finishing microfiber" pad WITH Reflect polish

Just wondering which pad to use and do I do an IPA wipedown BEFORE or after?

LAST STEP is a Cquartz coating.

2016 Camaro, brand new. Nothing bad on the car... Just want to polish it before applying my final sealant...

Today i did a two bucket wash + ironx + clay +final wash down to get everything off.

IMO if you are using a GG-6, it also depends on the paint condition and wax you are using. On my wife's 2005 Honda Accord, I use the orange pad with the GG one step paint sealant. I use light pressure due to the car has some micro scratches and I don't want an aggressive cut. For my 2015 Escape, I use the GG red pad with Meguiars Gold Class Carnauba wax. This has no cut. I set my GG-6 on #2 to spread the carnauba wax.
Here is a chart that may help you out better.

Griot's sells a black pad that's for final polishing, orange pad takes care of most of your polishing needs.....most of the time.
