Go westmarine.com and search for cup holders. Lots of choices. Swivel mount's my favorite.

    Re: My Homemade/Repurposed Detailing Cart

Not bad. Not bad at all.

For me, I simply had to "have it my way" when it came to a cart. I build a lot of furniture related items, which results in a fair amount of left over materials accumulating. As such, I decided to take these left overs and make myself what I'm calling the "Mac Daddy" of detailer's carts. This is what I came up with. And for those interested, it cost me about $30 total given most of the cart/cabinet was either left over or re-purposed materials.

As an added plus, the height of the cabinet, coupled with it's formica top makes for an excellent work surface for anything I need to fiddle with.

Top compartment holds all my spray bottles, wax, compounds, etc. Everything I use on each and every detail project.

My DA (and its backing pads and other pieces and parts) lives in that Rubbermaid container on the bottom shelf. I left plenty of additional room on that shelf for the Makita rotary I have yet to purchase.

That is pretty awesome! Must be nice to have that kind of "extras" lying around LOLOL AND the ablility to make it look like it should be in my Kitchen LOLOLOL. love the top, my only concern is I would have all my junk on it the top and realize I needed something out from under it LOLOL

Looks nice. I'm not a fan of metal carts in case you hit the car its going to be ugly. Plastic ones are much safer to use around cars.
