    Re: Air Conditioned Garage

You are a very lucky man (coming from a Central Florida resident who does NOT have an air conditioned garage)!

Enjoy detailing in comfort; you deserve it!

Once you get used to working in comfort you'll never go back! Sometimes I hate to open the garage door letting out the heat or ac. You get used to moving things in and out more efficiently. Your neighbors are going to wonder why you don't work on your cars anymore with the garage door always shut lol! What size is that Trane (very nice unit btw) and how many sq ft are you cooling?

My Sanyo is a older unit rated at 10 seer and is 18,000 BTU's, heating/cooling 864 sq ft of my 1152 sq ft garage. I have a smaller window unit for the garages extra bedroom. I've had no issues at all with temps ranging from lows and highs of 10 to 100+ degrees. I have the indoor unit right over the desk and for quick relief when needed I'll direct the air straight down... burrr
