Re: LED v.s. Fluorescent lights in the garage

I've heard a lot of good things about the HO T5 florescent bulbs. I was surprised at how small the T5's are when I saw them at Home Depot the other day! I am starting from scratch in an old 2 car garage: It's a pretty square space. Any specific housing I need to get for them?

Here's mine, it's 5x2 fluorescent bulbs (4100k), and then I built a portable detail light with the same bulbs. (Garage is 22x31)

The portable was super easy and cheap!!!

How do you keep the portable from tipping?

The base is a heavy furniture moving cart, it won't tip at all. Even with the light swiveled it's very stable.

Just installed these lights in my garage. Super bright. Pricey, though, as you would expect from LEDs.

I bought these lights for my shop. They are pricey but well worth it. Excellent warantee.

Just wondering what size your garage is and how many fixtures you installed.
