does SF3500 is enough after FG300?any tips for a job on a "Concrete" clear coat?

i am in a process of a detail job on a black "Audi Q5" . the plan is to do only a 2 steps job and to avoid sanding (costumer request)
    i am using a "FLEX 3401" .
my original plan was to cut with "menzerna FG400"(for that i used "scholl concepts Waite spider pad" and "LC Foamed Wool Pad" ) and to Finnish with menzerna "SF3500" but it seams that the "FG400" wasn't cut enough so i had to Finnish with my "rupes UHS" in order to have a serious cutting ability in the second step .

i am planning to use the new "menzerna FG300" with a "menzerna wool pad" in order to increase the cutting ability, my question is if "SF3500" will be enough after the "FG300"?
i know that the "UHS" Finnish very well(i just love that product) and it will be enough after the "FG300" but i want that deep wet Finnish that only a real finishing product like the "SF3500" can bring and still avoid the 3'rd step and stick with 2 steps.
BTW, according to menzerna's charts i can use "SF3500" after the "FG300" ,what do you think?

second question .which of the "one step" cutting compound have the better Finnish ability ? menzerna FG400\menzerna PF2200\RUPES UHS ?

    thank you .

    Hi, welcome to AutoGeekOnline!

I see you are located outside the U.S. and seems like you are using the newly labeled product line. The SF3500 is SF4000.

Yes this polish has enough pull in it to finish out whatever SC300 leaves behind regardless of machine or pad choice.

You could cut with the PE14, wool pad, SC300, and finish out with the 3401, SF3500 and a polishing pad.

thank you for your kind answer.
i am locate outside of the US(in the "holy land"), and just realise that i am using the wrong product name ( it's SHC300, not FG300 LOL ).
unfortunately i don't have the "PE-14" so i will have to cut with the 3401.
is there something special that i have to know about before using the SHC300 (first time) ?
any thoughts about my second question ""which of the "one step" cutting compound have the better Finnish ability ? menzerna FG400\menzerna PF2200\RUPES UHS ?""

    thank you.

I have seen the product called FG300. I know what you mean. I personally call it SC300 to keep it simple and within the nomenclature of the rest of the product line.

Anyways, I just used that example above with the PE14 as a reference on how aggressive you can get in the first step without fear of SF3500 being able to finish up or not. Rest assured, SF3500 when used with the 3401 and polishing pad has enough power to finish out left by an aggressive first step.

Nothing special needed to know. If you have experience with FG400 you will find that SC300 performs relatively the same. Although with more cut and less finishing capability.

If you are going for a one step polish only with the 3401, PF2200-PF2500 will be your choice. If you are looking for a true one step (All in One) then Menzerna 3n1 will be your choice. This product has the same polishing abrasives as found in PF2500.

I have not used the RUPES system at all so I can not comment.

Did you try Mike@DedicatedPerfection's "Smack" method http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/...rid-pads.html?? I've used his method on Audi Q7 [Flex 3401 w/Menzerna FG400 and SIP4000 on Lake Country Hybrid pads (Orange/White)]...and other cars...and it worked like a champ!

That said, correcting Audi paint can be a huge pain. Here's Mike Philips et al on that subject http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/...removal-3.html
