    How do I clean this????

The screen for the radio in my son's 2015 Ford Fusion isn't working. The radio works, but the screen doesn't. I went to the local salvage yard and bought the screen and electronics/console panel(?).

I might be wrong, but it looks to be a tad dusty. Maybe even dirty(sarcasm font). Any recommendations on what to use to get it clean? I'm afraid with my luck whatever I use on it will render it useless.

    Thank you!!!

Spray some APC into a microfiber towel and go slow and don't mash the solution into the control buttons.
Get the old dirt soft and loosen it up with a soft detailing brush and wipe off with a clean microfiber towel as you go...
If you have an air compressor to blow it out as you go it will also help...

A detailing brush and a diluted APC. Dap the brush in the APC solution, shake some of it out, go over it a few times- use your head & common sense as far a s pressure goes, wipe with a MF towel. If you have any canned air like computer geeeeeks I/T folks use or compressed air lightly

Clamp it to a big rock and hit it with a 4500psi pressure washer. Use the 0-degree tip to get into those tight areas.

    J/K. Great suggestions above.

Thank you for the advice and to PaulMys for the laugh!

I started with a dry detailing brush and that took a lot of the dirt off. I happened to look at a pic of the original panel and noticed a difference. The replacement panel does not have buttons for the heated seats. No loss for me though. The screen which is what we needed most did work.

Figured you'd go with high pressure steam

I just might have to, and it would give me a reason to get a steamer.

Don’t interfere. It’s hard coming up with excuses, I mean projects, that require the purchase of new tools.
