Best microfiber towel for removing and buffing Gyeon Cancoat?

I am planning on applying Gyeon Cancoat Evo for the first time. What microfiber towel do you recommend for the removing and final buffing of Cancoat? I was thinking about TRC Edgeless 365 or Edgeless Pearl.

Am I correct in assuming that I would not be able to reuse these towels after completing the job? If so, cost per towel is a factor I am considering.

Yes you can reuse the towels! And i just use the cobra edgeless polishing cloths

Rag Co 300gsm edgless for first wipe, 350gsm for final buff. Toss 'em when done, cheap insurance. They will crisp up with cured coating. You could likely dunk/soak in bucket of water/apc immediately after and wash quickly but is it worth the bother for $15 worth of towels?

At most you'll use (4) 300's and (2) 350's but it can be done with 2 & 1 respectively if you're diligent about flipping/refolding.

Hands down my favorite towel for buffing is TRC pearl weave. Also the Griots PFM detail towels (greenish color) are awesome.

Use the included towel to apply and if you are confident enough flip it and wipe off any excess. If not a second towel will be worth it. I have never used more that two towels working with CanCoat. I don't like the pearl towel whatsoever so I would say an edgeless 300 or 365 would be perfect.

This is exactly what I did. When I do a full detail on a car I usually have a bucket of water/APC or Pad/MF cleaner out already to soak my polishing pads when I finish with them. Since I already had a bucket available, I'd just stick the buffing towels in there. I never had more than two from what I remember. To keep the towels from hardening, I'd go from the bucket straight to the washing machine. Worked great for me.

Same here. I think the towel that came with CanCoat is the only one I actually used with the product. The suede towel Carpro provided was terrible for this purpose. I have a couple laying around waiting to be cut up and used as coating applicators, but that may never happen with all the good applicator pads available now.

I used the white towel to apply it on my bike, but then when I did a friends car, I used a microfiber brick applicator… The results application process was MUCH easier with the microfiber brick….Three sprays on the brick, a quarter inch away from the brick and it put a nice thin spread over the entire panel. I’ll never use towels again to apply it Your application procedure can be much more precise with the brick.

I wish they rename this product maybe “can spread” or “can protectant” or something besides can coat. Too many people get the wrong opinion that this is really a coating per se, it is absolutely much easier to use than a true coating, it’s more like a polymer spray…with better protection and durability.

Polymer sprays don't generally harden on the applicator like CanCoat. It is a coating. It will solidify. Try pouring some out and letting is cure.

I know it’s a coating… I understand that, my comment was more about the fact that it applies like a silicon spray. All the advantages of a coating without the disadvantages.
