Klasse High Gloss Sealant Question
Between coats can I use a car wash that has a wax in it or that will block my next layer of Sealant from laying on properly?
Also is both the All in one and the Sealant safe for windows including the windshield?
Thanks

Re: Klasse High Gloss Sealant Question
Any product that leaves something behind will become an issue for the the layers of Klasse SG bonding together. That is one of the main reasons they always recommend using Klasse AIO prior to the initial coat of SG.
My advice would be to skip the car wash place all together until you get the second coat applied. Even if you don't get the wax option, I could see the soaps having "glossing" or sheeting agents in them which are no better than the wax. Use a good quality car soap that doesn't leave anything behind and wash it yourself by hand if possible. You'll need to hand wash it anyway since those automated places never get the car clean enough, and you don't want to trap dirt between the layers.
I can't tell you about the glass. I've used the Klasse twins for a long time, but never applied it to anything other than the paint, wheels, and headlight/taillight covers.

Re: Klasse High Gloss Sealant Question
Well I don't own a garage so my car is outside. How do I clean off the dust and dirt in between coats? All purpose cleaner? I don't go to car washes to begin with was only saying what I have on hand.
Thanks for the assistance.

Re: Klasse High Gloss Sealant Question
Just use a car wash soap that doesn't have wax in it and you should be fine. When you mentioned a car wash with wax I thought you were describing an automated place where you get the wax sprayed on at the end of the wash.
I used Meguiars Gold Class shampoo with success. I have to admit, that with a single layer of SG lasting six months, I rarely ever put down more than one layer.

Re: Klasse High Gloss Sealant Question
What do you have for conventional and rinseless washes?
And both KAIO and SG are fine on glass, just make sure to apply sparingly and buff thoroughly or you will get difficult to remove film which will be streaky/annoying.

I don't own anything except some crap with wax in it. Don't want to place another order to geek since I just placed one over the weekend. Meguiars Gold Class seems like they'd be a culprit for additives.
What do you recommend that I can get locally? Or recommend in general?
Thanks

I like Meg's Hyper Wash (not over the counter)
or Mothers Gold Car Shampoo (available over the counter)
Don't use an APC or Simple Green on the paint.

What makes you think Megs Gold Class has additives?

Re: Klasse High Gloss Sealant Question
Somewhere here there is a post about mixing KHGS and Quick Wax for touch ups. I really like this solution. Basically you add a few oz of KHGS to a small spray bottle of something like Meguirs Ultimate Quick Wax. (something like 2oz of Klasse to 6-8 oz of quick wax).
After I wash, I spray the panels with this spray wax mix, and wipe off. Looks great, and so far has maintained the beading throughout winter. Once spring is here, I will reapply the KAIO/KHGS regimen again.
