Yes.

•Machine Application
(For easy application for novices or pros, use a Porter Cable 7424XP dual action polisher.)
-Buff away Paintwork Cleansing Lotion with a soft Cobra Microfiber Towel. Flip the towel often as you buff.
-Wash the vehicle and towel dry.
-Mist a white polishing pad with Crystal Mist Detail Spray to allow easier application. Pour a circle of Paintwork Cleansing Lotion on the pad.
-With the machine turned off, spread the lotion over a small area.
-Set the max speed at 4.5 or 5 and turn the machine on.
-Polish in a figure-eight pattern until the lotion begins to dry or disappear.
-Buff with a clean microfiber towel.
-Continue to the next section until you’ve polished the entire vehicle.
•Always follow Paintwork Cleansing Lotion with a coat of wax.
-Souveren or Signature Series II will give your vehicle a glossy,
wet-looking shine.
•Notes:
-For best results, apply Paintwork Cleansing Lotion out of direct sunlight. Do not apply to hot body panels.
-Paintwork Cleansing Lotion is not designed for use with
high speed rotary polishers.

Any cleaner polish where deep cleaning is preferred, a machine will always be the preferred method of application. You're not just spreading it out like a wax...you are working it into the paint. Its a great product.
In my day we didn't have the Internet, iPods,iPads, or smart phones....but we had some really bad-azz cars.

Thanks! This is great info.
Is the difference between this and the Advanced swirl remover the fact that advanced swirl remover has a slight abrasive and deep cleansing lotion does not?

the DA is going to give you consistent and better results much more than your hands ever will and it never gets tired. let the machine do all the work for you...

These two products are like comparing apples and oranges. They are very different.
The Pinnacle Advanced Swirl Remover is a medium cut polish. It's more aggressive than the Advanced Finishing Polish but less aggressive than the Advanced Compound.
The Pinnacle Paintwork Cleansing Lotion is a non-abrasive, chemical only paint cleaner. It will not remove swirls and scratches it will clean the surface of the paint from light oxidation, staining and surface impurities.
And "yes" like most paint care products, best results come from machine application but only use soft polishing or soft finishing pads and medium speeds when using any paint cleaner by machine.
And in my book... I always do a Test Spot first anytime I'm working on a car I've never worked on before and/or applying a product to a car that I've never used on the car before.

Re: Paintwork cleansing lotion with DA?
Great info from Mike! Silverfox nailed my technique for PPCL in that i work it with my PC on and into the paint and with maybe a white LC pad for harder clears and black or blue LC pads for softer clears. I LOVE that product before applying a compatible sealant. Another product i "rediscovered" is P21S Gloss Enhancing Paintwork Cleanser. I used it way back in the day and after going through some old product inventory decided to polish off (pun intended) my remaining product.
Both of these products along with a whole host of others work to effectively clean your paint very well and work so much better by machine.
