Well its summertime again and one of my challenges is getting the streaks out of the windows. I use a cleaner from a local distributer. It comes in a gallon and I dilute it. Any suggestions? Thanks
If it is on the inside I use one microfiber to apply and a dry one or uncolored newspaper to remove. On the outside, if I am applying something like Klasse AIO or glaze I use that on a black pad and DA.
Can't comment on your choice of window cleaner but that could be the issue as well. They are not all made the same that is for sure. Stoners makes a good product.
One tip in another forum I picked up (and might be in the above links), clean outside glass going in one direction (left to right), and do inside glass (up and down). If there are streaks present, you will know which side of the glass to focus on. That's a start, the rest is dependent on towels and cleaner.
For crud covered windshields, I have been using S p i c and span glass cleaner. I have found this to so far be the best most powerful cleaner for bug splatters. For general light duty cleaning, Stoner's all the way or Glass Plus. -Ed
