I recently purchased a PC7424xp back in mid March.I've had great success with it thus far.It does a super job on the vertical panels on my car but the horizontal panels, hood, tops of fenders, rear spoiler, and rear hatch are another story. It just seems that it doesn't have enough power to remove the deposits left on it by Mother nature and the previous owners neglect.I've used Meg's 105 with a LC Hybrid orange pad&also tried a yellow CCS with the Meg's 105 and I still have the majority of the defects.I've worked on the hood and the tops of the fenders and it has taken the majority of the water spots off but there is still some there. My question is should I step up to a flex 3401VRG,flex L3403 VRG,or the flex PE14-2-150 rotary? Here are a few pictures. The quarter panel came out flawless but the hood not so good.Keep in mind that the hood,I "can not" feel the defects. So I'm hoping this can be corrected with the proper tool.Closeup view.
