    Jay's Dune Buggy meets Rupes

Jay stopped by last week with his new toy he picked up after flipping the 1998 Trans Am we buffed out and making a cool $7000.00 profit.

The paint is actually in really good shape but there's always room to squeeze a little more shine and gloss out of every car that comes to Autogeek's Show Car Garage...

Here she is outside shortly after 5:00pm as the sun is setting...

This is called the Golden Hour for photography folks...

This is the first time Jay's ever used the Rupes and he said he liked it!

Afterwards we put on a little Max Wax and now she glistens!

    What do you think Jay?

Another show car finish at Autogeek's Show Car Garage!

Sometime in the future Jay thinks he's going to have a large metallic flake stripe sprayed down both sides, if and when he does he's going to bring it back for a wetsand, cut and buff...

Sweet ride. Just as big as my wife's Mini Cooper, if not bigger. Came out great as all your projects do.

This dune buggy actually has an interesting history behind it. The body was built right here in Florida. I'll try to get Jay to chime in with the details...

    So very clean!

I would like to know more about the power plant; what sort of goodies have been done to it, or plans of future modifications.

Ah... I let him take it so he could wipe the bugs off the windshield when he arrived home...

You'll see Jay and his dune buggy back and I'll try to get the details on the engine. I think the pan is a 1961 and the dune buggy body is a 1968
