I give my vote for Dodo Juice SN or SONAX
Megs Gold Class has washed many a vehicle, and served me well over the years. There's nothing like an inexpensive over-the-counter product that really works well. Duragloss can be purchased OTC as well if you have a NAPA or CARQUEST in the area. There may be others that carry the line as well. I picked up some Duragloss locally for $7.
If I were looking for detailing products that get the most bang for my purchasing buck...and that really work well, and cab be purchased locally in many cases...Duragloss products would have to be on my shelf, especially their car wash and Aquawax.
I read a thread on here a few days ago about a guy starting a detailing business on the side, and he was trying to figure out what to charge, and what products would give really good results (satisfied customers).. with little invested.
Duragloss would be one of the first product lines I'd look at, followed by Megs...to build upon.
Thanks everybody, what a great forum!
So we are down to Duragloss and Optimum, which do you think will give more suds?
Suds dont add to the cleaning ability car soaps, its the lubricity. With that being said, suds are about the same with the two. Also dont use the recommended dilution ratio as its a bit strong. Use 1/2 per gallon instead.
My favorite Car Wash to use is the Pinnacle Bodywork Shampoo but I find myself using the DP Auto Bath Shampoo most of the time.
I like the Wolfgang Autobathe:dblthumb2:
I like duragloss for light washes but if the cars owner is retarded and never washes it= britemax cleanmax
Optimum so good I bought 3 gallons..
