FLEX Tools on My Classic Car with Dennis Gage!

FLEX Tools on My Classic Car with Dennis Gage!

While we were hosting Carscand Coffee today, a brand new Autogeek segment aired on My Classic Car.

    We featured,

    FLEX Power Tool
    SONAX products
    Buff & Shine Pads

In this segment we differentiate the various tools and how they work.

Set you DVR to tape Season 22 Episode 02

Here’s a couple of pics I took as it played using my cell phone.

Always a pleasure working with Dennis Gage.

I watched the show just to see that part with you and also Nick’s ad. The rest of the show didn’t really interest me.

    Copy that...

My wife's Dad owned a couple of Toronados as she was growing up so it brought back fond memories to her. I appreciated the design of the car itself and how very pristine the model was on the show.

Appreciate that. Dennis is so easy to work with, he understands his job is to help his guest bring out and present their information as best as possible and he's the expert at this style of TV.

    Behind the scenes tidbit...

Before we shot all of our segments I spoke with Bob Eichelberg about how to properly present the FLEX "message", and received his blessing to share what the part numbers mean for FLEX tool, (they are just internal part numbers for inventory purposes), and then of course everyone here on this forum knows the XC 3401 VRG as the BEAST and the XFE7 15 as the FINISHER.

When it comes to the new FLEX XFE 7-12 80, at the launch time of this new tool I also called Bob Eichelberg and in conversation told him no one was ever going to call it the FLEX XFE 7-12 80 but what it would likely end up being called was the FLEX 3" Mini Polisher and again he gave me permission to attach that abbreviated and much easier to remember, speak and roll-off-the-tongue name.

I think that was a very good segment myself and it was great having Mick Gottman's beautiful 1972 Dodge Charger Rallye on the set for use to demonstrate tools and products. (Thanks Mick)

Mike I saw the segment as well and liked it a lot. Will there be future segments like this with other products/polishers or just limited to Flex? I think I saw Flex listed at the end of the show for "promotional consideration".

    Thanks Mike!

I just saw it this morning and the machines are named like today's cars, LOL.
