Turtle wax original hard shell car wax

Hi. Has anyone used turtle wax original hard shell car wax? Its the one which comes in the 500ml bottle.
If so, how durable is it? I know its a cheap wax but does it last a long time? And how long can it cover the swirls for? I'm thinking of using poorboys black hole on it followed by turtle wax......
    Thanks

    Sorry...
I don't have any experience with
the TW Original Hard Shell that
    comes in the 500ml bottle.

    Note:
If I were to use the TW Hard Shell,
I prefer it in the (Super Hard Shell)
    "paste form":

I was reading in the Turtle Wax forum that it is difficult to remove.

I have not used the liquid form, but I have used the paste form.

Durability: No idea. It's a wax so it can't be that durable, especially on dark paint. Depending how much sun it is exposed to, I would say very likelly between 2 weeks to 2 months durabilty.

Looks: Well, again, it's a wax, so it does make the paint more glossy. Nothing crazy like Reload or Essence though.

Ease of use: Goes on very easilly. Almost impossible to remove. If you plan on using this cheap wax, I suggest you use a Dual Action polisher with a polishing bonnet to remove it. Doing it by hand with a microfiber towel will leave you exausted after rubbing like a mad man for 30 minutes. Once this stuff hardens, it's like trying to remove glue from the paint.

There are much better products available for just a little bit more money. I know TW waxes are cheap, I paid something like 5$ for my tub, but it's so frustrating to remove, you will be much better off with an other product. Try Meguiar's products, much better quality even if they are a bit more expensive.

You get what you pay for.

The conspiracy theorist in me thinks that it is a plot to make sure that car owners get so frustrated removing it that they go to professional detailing services for "waxing" their cars.

Octaviavrs, you'll see around here at Autogeek, most guys use a synergistic approach of using products which are designed to go together. ie) Klasse Twins, using specific paint preps before said coating is applied, etc. Using that logic, if you're going to use a carnauba topper, might as well use Turtle Wax's version.

PS: I was sort of being silly when I wrote my first response. However, there is always a little truth in kidding

Spend a little bit extra and get yourself a better quality wax.
