    That's the problem, I have a hard time stomaching $70-$85 for an extension cord [that I don't even seriously need] when I only paid $100 for my 14 gallon Ridgid... That's alot for just a cord! Lol.

    I think I paid $32 for my 14 gauge 50' cord.

    Copper prices have gone through the roof. Large gauge extension cars are getting very expensive, as are good booster cables. When I was growing up, booster cables were 2 gauge and larger. Now it is hard to find boostr cables lower than 4 gauge, and if you do, they are stupid expensive.
