BOSS pads vs B&S Low Pro

Have any of you had experience with these pads? I have over 40 pads, but some of them are old and I plan on using them all with my 8mm machines only.

I just got a G15 and I'm a huge stickler for having plenty of pads. I'll probably buy at least 15 foam pads (I'm definitely buying 5 BOSS MF pads so I don't need suggestions for those). I know that the BOSS pads are designed for the G15, but there are cheaper options from B&S (who I suspect makes the BOSS pads).

Has anyone found the Low Pros or others to be better tham than the BOSS pads?

I believe Griot's Garage makes their own pads. The Boss foam pads are great. I use the orange pad the most to help remove haze or micro-marring inflicted by the Boss microfiber pad.

The yellow pads are good too. When used with the Perfecting Cream one can achieve an even greater finish on an already-corrected surface.

My top three pads for my G15 are the microfiber pads, orange and then yellow.

The white pads are decent, but if I need to correct stubborn clear coat I normally go to microfiber.

I can only share my experience with the BOSS orange pads....using Speed, they seemed to load up a little as compared with Hexlogic Quantum. Part of that may be my inexperience using the product (first timer) and the pads themselves.

I have both and stated previously they the same foams in different colour one having an interface and the other not. They definitely BnS and whoever claims otherwise I will not trust. Are either any good? Yes they fantastic think I bought about 30.

I just bought both not to long ago, so I only have a limited comparison.

The biggest difference between these two pads is the weight.

BOSS 5.5 white and orange weigh 15.5g

    BOSS 5.5 Microfiber 20-22g

BOSS 5.5 Innerflex is about 12.5g

B&S 5.5 LowPro green and orange are about 35g

The BOSS pads feel more balanced on the Duetto.

All of the above have very stiff foam. Except the microfiber one, I kinda wish it was a little stiffer.

I'm not sure if I like the stiff foams ones yet, I need to use them more. The microfiber ones are nice so far. Just a couple of test spots, and one car done.

That's interesting that they're the same foam. I knew the microfiber pads looked exactly like B&S pads so I figured they made them.

So do you notice any difference in performance given that the LowPros weigh more/have a greater thickness?

Do you notice any difference between the pads? Do you feel like the thicker/heavier pads help accomplish what the innerflex pad helps the thinner pads achieve?

I tested them side by side on my Rupes 15 and the Boss pads being thinner and lighter had an edge in correction to both the Low-Pro's and the LC ThinPro's. I don't think you can do better than the Boss pads on any free spinning DA, don't take my word for it, try it for yourself.

I have both and I think the BOSS Orange Foam feels less dense than the BnS Low Pro Orange foam. Also, the BnS Polishing Pad(maroon) is much more dense than the BOSS Yellow Polishing pad.

You absolutely correct, I was talking about the Boss white pads in relation to the LP Green. Those are the two I use for cutting.

The Boss Yellows feel soft like CarPro Gloss and softer than Rupes White even.
