How many people are interested in learning how to wet sand?

How many people are interested in learning how to wet sand?

When I say wet sand, I mean learning both how to wet sand by hand and wet sand by machine.

    1. Are you interested in learning the basic techniques just so you have the skill set but don't actually plan on doing any wet sanding.

    2. Would you like to know how to wet sand but hope you never have to do any wetsanding?

    3. Sometime in the future you have that special car project in the garage and at some point it will get painted and then you want to do the wet sanding and buffing instead of letting the shop do it?

Vote in the poll and also reply to this thread and state which of the three scenarios I listed best describe you.

    Thank you.

I already wet sand with an air powered buffer, but sharpening my skills with The Best is always welcome!

Re: How many people are interested in learning how to wet sand?

I would like to learn. I like learning detailing stuff, knowledge is good. The more I learn the better I undestand. I might not always use the skill but there will be a time where it will be useful.

I have done some wet sanding but I would like to become more proficient in wet sanding by hand and by machine.

Re: How many people are interested in learning how to wet sand?

    My answer is absolutely yes.
Wet sanding can be very usefull when polishing a car that has a few deeper scratches that can't be removed with normal polishing.
Also my car is a 2015 and full of orange peel.

Would love to learn, Mike. Scenario #2 best suits my needs.
