HD Speed, Pre-Wax Paint Cleaner or PB Black Hole
I am sorry if this has been asked before, but I have two black cars which are fairly well maintained. Both received full details (decon, 2-step polish) in the early spring and have been washed regularly (using 2BM). At this point of the summer I would like to renew the LSP on the vehicles. Before I do so, I figure that each could benefit from one of the above-referenced products to prep the paint for the LSP (say Power Lock or WGDGPS 3.0).
My question is which product should I use? I have heard great things about HD Speed, but I am looking for ease of use for this initial prep stage. I will be using a Flex 3401 and am looking for the product which will give me the most bang for my time spent.
Thanks!

HD speed will leave some lsp on the surface, so it's not a good choice before adding a sealent like powerlock. There are good pre cleaners like P21S prewax, that would be better options.

HD polish makes more sense.
In my day we didn't have the Internet, iPods,iPads, or smart phones....but we had some really bad-azz cars.

Thanks Silverfox. If I use HD Polish as a pre-wax cleaner, how many passess do you think that I will need with a white hybrid pad? I have not used HD Polish before but I have noticed that you and a few other regulars highly recommend it. Do you often use it as a standalone polish when warranted? If so, what is your approach for using it?

HD Polish is a SMAT product so you don't have to worry about multiple passes to break down the abrasives like you would with a DAT Polish. HD Polish has fine abrasives and would be a good polish for your black cars IMO. Another good option for cleansing/prepping before LSP is Prima Amigo. Amigo has very lite abrasives that has a little correction ability used with the correct pad.
I use HD Polish and Amigo both are excellent products... that said if your in need of a fine polish the HD makes more sense IMO.
