Annual car show coming, got to make it shine

I'm attending a large car show and will be meeting up with 40+ friends from across the country to show off our cars. A lot of the guys are big fans of Liquid Glass. I'm a Pinnacle fan and what to make sure I'm getting all that I can out of the factory paint.

My car is a black 2007 GT500 that is a garage queen. I'm getting ready to wash it for the first time this year and need help to decide what else is needed.

It has been a full calendar year since I did paint correction, followed by Pinnacle Black Label sealant and top coated with Pinnacle Souverign liquid. I've noticed some swirl marks that need to be addressed. It seems no matter how careful I am, using spray, ultra soft MF; I still get them. I'm not sure if I should go over the entire car again. happy to do it if I need to.

What would you recommend to make this black beauty really pop? I need to quiet the Liquid Glass guys

In my arsenal, PC742, variety of CCS pads, Pinnacle swirl remover, Polish, liquid wax, Black Label sealant.

    Any help would be appreciated

One way that you might be able to "quiet" the Liquid Glass (a Sealant) Guys..is to apply a "Show Car"-Carnauba Wax, on top of your Pinnacle BL Sealant, immediately upon your arrival at this Car Show.

Being that you're a Pinnacle fan...

I would be hesitant to compound it again, but perhaps polish to remove some of the light swirls that have found their way back. In the future, you might also want to consider a coating, as they might be more resistant to getting swirls.

Souveran paste wax is outstanding for a show car, but I would not do it day of show. I would do it at least a day or two before. It has a 24-48 full curing time that seems to amplify the gloss. I have noticed after I use it on my garage queen, a few days later its even shinier than it was right after application.

Thank you for the feed back!

Is there a noticeable difference in the Pinnacle paste vs liquid? I need to see how small of a container of paste I can get as this would be the only car I would use it on. Wonder if they offer small sample size for purchase?

    Pinnacle Souveran Paste Wax

I would still get the full size pot. You can probably get about 10 applications out of the mini, or 25 from the full size.

I think there is a difference between the liquid and the paste. I think there is a warmness and extra gloss from paste wax that liquids cannot duplicate. A lot of this might be my imagination. But using the paste alone, especially Souveran is so pleasurable that alone makes it worthwhile.

I'm all for it, IF there is a difference. Would prefer not to purchase the paste if I won't see the difference.

I'm curious as well if the paste would give a better depth of shine, I think the souveran liquid wax has polymers in it which might make it not shine as well as pure carnauba wax? Or are the polymers there to make the liquid last longer?

I used Blackfire black ice paste wax right before dropping our 62 Chrysler 300 H off at Mecum last year. It seemed that it had some filling ability as the car looked fantastic under the harsh lights of the auction block.

BLACKFIRE Combo is pretty impressive to. I actually like Midnight Sun better than Souveran and this combo is a real bargain.

That combo appears to have worked really well for you!
