On the set with Dennis Gage!

On the set with Dennis Gage!

Going on day 2, most of the pictures we have are on the camera but here's a few from my cell phone....

This is the 1931 Highboy we worked on yesterday.

    Perfect car for our segment....

Here you can see the swirls and scratches and this is just my cell phone, wait till you see what my Canon captures!

In-between takes, we go to the adjoining engineering room where footage is captured, edited and played back for approval. It was raining so Dennis has an umbrella handy so no one gets wet.

Check out the trees in the background, fall is here in full force!

Has Dennis been able to finish the rebuilding after the fire?

Wish him well from a long time watcher.

    Yes.

After we finished shooting next year's season on Thursday we joined Dennis and team at his house to celebrate.

We did this last year too so his new house has been finished for over two years and going on three...

I think Nick has a picture of himself and Dennis on the patio of Dennis's house with his bass pond in the background. It's a beautiful house in the country and very serene. While we were there we saw over a dozen dear roaming around the property including to twin fawns. There's also wild Turkeys roaming around the property hanging out.

I took and posted some pictures of the Turkeys last year...

Just went through all the picture taken while we were with Dennis at My Classic Car and created a full blown thread sharing everything we did and all the fun we had.

Can't post that till Thursday so hang tight and be watching for it!

Until then, here's a few teaser shots.

Every TV show I've worked on has a professional make-up artist on staff. This is important because now days everyone is shooting using high definition cameras and EVERYTHING shows up! Plus high def cameras can make you look hot and sweaty even when you're not...

This is Carrie warming me over...

Some of the crew at My Classic Car, from left to right....

Brian is passenger side rear tire.
Mike the Grip is driver's side back tire.
Jon is passenger side front tire.
Jarod is driver's side front tire.

These pictures were taken with my trusty, dusty Canon and the camera guys also captured the swirls for the TV viewers when this episode air sometime in 2015.

    Ready to start filming...

    Ty's turn...

    Bob, Darlene and Dennis....

    Nick and Dennis...

Ben the Producer and also a pro camerman getting B-Roll

The guys are watching a playback on the set....

    Nanoskin products....

    And one more....

    Wacky Doodle?
And I don't know what this picture was about.... you'll have to ask Nick.... might make a good Avatar for someone?

    Remember....

This Thursday, the full thread with all the pictures will be posted so be here to see the surprises....

Cant see any of the teaser pictures Mike. Just blank white space where they should be.

Anyways, you caught my ear and can't wait to see the surprises! I hear there's a new tool going to be released here a week before SEMA....

    My bad...

I made the folder where the pictures are held "hidden" and I thought this was only the folder itself thus if you couldn't find the folder you wouldn't be able to see all the pictures.

When I checked this thread last night before leaving I was "logged in" and thus I can see hidden pictures but this would only apply to myself or anyone else with Moderator, Super Moderator or Admin permissions.

I just fixed it by re-uploading the missing pictures to a new folder that is not hidden so now they appear.
