Prime or Not using Optimum Hyper polish

I am hoping that Mike Phillips will see this and comment. Next weekend I hope to polish the car using Optimum Hyper Polish. I have watched Mike's video on how to prime a pad before polish. I also watched Mike's video with Dr, G on use of the optimum Hyper Polish. Dr.G seemed to indicate that with Hyper Polish, you just spray it on the pad and then go to work. I have some CG polishing pad conditioner, the hyper polish but not sure if I prime the pad as in one video or is it not needed with the Hyper Polish and should I forget the pad conditioner altogether? It would seem to me that even with Hyper Polish the pad should need to be primed as with any other polish to avoid dry spots on the pad? Makes sense to me but maybe Hyper Polish is that different. Any comments appreciated.

I just spray and go. Make sure to spray some on your forearm and the machine, also I love Hyper Polish but you invariably miss at some point.

When you spray the pad you have it pretty much completely covered so there won't be any dry spots...and yes you will occasionally spray arms, hands, machine. Lol This stuff is my favorite polish.

If it's so messy, after the first spray and application, wouldn't it be simpler to spray it on the car and spread it around at a slow speed?

HPolish goes a long way. Prime 4 dots for initial panel, then add 1-2 for each next panel. No need to spray it everywhere.

It's not really that messy, just a matter of learning how far to hold the bottle from the pad and paying attention when your spraying.
