Do I benefit from DG 501 when...

Hey guys,

When I do my winter prep, will benefit from using DG 501 after the compound/polish stages? Keeping in mind I would strictly be using DG 501 to CLEAN the paint and then do a few coats of DG 105/601 to SEAL AND PROTECT. Might even throw in Collinite 845 after that.

My question being (more directly): Is there any benefit in using a chemical cleaner like DG 501 after clay/compound/polish stage? I'd imagine the paint is getting pretty clean. I am not interested in how 501 increases the longevity of the protection of 105; I am strictly asking about its cleaning ability.

I interpret both #105, and #501, to be AIOs.
Use either one for their cleaning ability.
Using both is overkill, IMO.

Have you considered DG#111 for your LSP?
Unlike #s 105/501...#111 is a non-abrasive Sealant.

Yes, I have thought about 111, but from the reading I've done on the forum, it's not enough to convince me to buy it in addition to the 105 that I already have. Now that I'm in college again, I try to be extremely frugal (ESPECIALLY with car care products) and buy more of what I NEED versus what I WANT.... It sucks.
