I did a search but I really didn't find any good answer to my specific question.
I have a set of satin or semi-flat black Work Emotions. They are about a year old. I have only hand washed them with car soap and water and never used any other products on them. I have noticed that they are starting to get, what looks like, oxidation or spots that are flatter than the rest of the wheel surface.
What is the proper product to wax and protect the finish on these wheels? They are not simply flat black, that have a satin sheen to them. I was considering using Meguires Quick Detailer spray on them but I am sure there is a product specific to my needs.
Work is a Japanese wheel brand and mine have a specific finish. If you are not familiar with the brand, it is not an HRE or anything, but you can't just walk into a store and buy a set either so I don't want to damage the finish. Hence the question.
I've used CG Jetseal Matte on a similar finished set of wheels(though I wasn't as happy with it's finish on some flat vinyl) Didn't make them look flatter, it just didn't make them any more glossy. I'd definitely try whatever you find on the back of the barrel of a wheel first to verify that it doesn't change the look of the finish unexpectedly.

Thanks,
Scott
I understand your question
If it was me, I would call the company that manufacturers the wheels and ask them what they suggest
They will be most familiar with the product and have the most accurate suggestion to improve the look of their wheels
