    Question Paint thickness gauges

Is a paint thickness gauge that reads only in Mils alright or should I get one that does microns?

    Re: Paint thickness gauges

Mils is fine and is the standard reference around here

Microns is more accurate, but IMO not required

The most recommended PTG on the Forum is $159 online and reads both mils and microns
