What happened?
I'm baffled. A few weeks ago I asked about shelf life for my Powerlock, so I put it into the basement out of the hot garage.
Yesterday I got it out and it had separated. When I shook it it was like water. It was so thin I couldn't believe it. Frustrated, I put it back into the basement. Today I went back down picked it up and shook it. It was thick and of it's normal consistency. Can anyone help me understand what may have happened? It makes no sense to me. Thank you in advance for all of your help! You guys are a great wealth of knowledge and information.

Re: What happened?
Hard to say for sure but sometimes you need to shake for several minutes to get everything all consistent in the bottle. Also, the more product in the bottle, the harder you need to work to get the product consistent again.

You sure you didn't pick up the wrong bottle the other day?

Re: What happened?
Might it be that this particular car-care product exhibited some of the characteristics that are often associated with non-Newtonian fluids?

Re: What happened?
I picked up the correct bottle. I also shook it for a minute or so the first day. It was so runny, seriously it was like water. When I shook it for a few seconds the next day, it was of the correct consistency. I don't know how shaking it longer would thicken it up, not that it couldn't. I guess my concern is if it has gone bad on me. Thank you guys!
