    Matte Paint

I bought a new motorcycle last week and it has a Matte (They call it suede) paint job. I know that I can't use an polishes or waxes on it but as far as simply washing it I am a little lost.

On my shiny cars I use Wolfgang Auto Bathe. Can I still use this stuff or do I need to get a specific soap to clean a matte finish?

Use a soap without a wax, or specifically you can use Chemical Guys matte wash
Chemical Guys Meticulous Matte Auto Wash, car wash shampoo, matte finish car wash

they have a Matte detailer spray as well
Chemical Guys Meticulous Matte Detailer 16 oz.

and a sealant (not sold on AG)
    jetseal Matte Sealant.

There are other companies who make specific washes for matte paint. Honestly not sure if I can put them in here put just google search matte paint washes...I will say one company is based out of Chicago, and I've used there "Matte Wheel Seal" (that may help you too...) and I loved it

    Nanolex, Dr. Beasely's, and Swissvax

this is a huge thread bump but I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for.

my brother in law has a flat black Harley motorcycle that he wants me to detail and I was wondering if I could use any of my soaps I have on hand to wash it....I have Meg's gold class, griots car wash soap and then d114 also....I do have chemical guys matte detail spray to finish it with but was wondering about the initial wash

Out of the ones you mention above...
I'd use the D114...it leaves nothing behind!
